This might go under “Use Cases.”
But it’s not the usual kind of “use cases” page. This is the human version — the part that explains why Digital Karma matters beyond websites, dashboards, or whatever the internet is calling “metrics” this week.
I can think of several critical junctures in my life — whether it was my graphic design / art management career or marketing life in manufacturing and ad agencies — where Digital Karma would have made a world of difference.
I’ll write those stories out later. For now, here’s the arc… and why it matters.
The point of the list is to show a progression in life that Digital Karma could have influenced — and what would have been possible if I had a coach or mentor.
My entire education was careening from one side of a self-inflicted wound to the other side of an ungracefully awkward recovery.
So unnecessary.
Not everything I did turned out terrible. But infamously… “If I knew then what I know now…”
Oddly enough, what I know now is applicable to those who are going through what will become their future “back then” life. Their “era.” Their “period.” Their chapter.
There was no internet when I sold my first commissioned art piece to my social studies teacher (and Jr. high wrestling coach) in 7th grade.
If there were — and I started then — my life would be very different today. I would have unbelievable leverage to shape my life into literally anything I wanted it to be.
Well… the internet does exist today (surprise! 😆) and kids have, arguably, unlimited access to it.
What they don’t have is an understanding of Digital Karma — how it compounds, and what to do with it if they did find it.
That’s the why this might benefit you.
How is a longer story. Not a difficult one, but longer — because relating to your circumstances takes some probing conjecture.
Let’s dive in…
If you prefer this in a more “classic” use case format, here are the real-world categories Digital KarmaⓀ™ supports. Each one ties back to the life-arc above.
Over time, each life stage above becomes its own dedicated use case page — with examples, frameworks, and the exact “what to do next” checklist for that stage.
